Giving it five stars because for the price paid it does exactly what it states: it reflects an image from your phone for you to trace. The image is not going to be crystal clear for fine details and if the image is too dark you will not be able to see much detail at all. Ambient light in the room will also affect how much you see. I don’t recommend this for kids because it takes patience to get the knack of using it.

This is honestly one of the coolest things ever. I am not a great artist but with this drawing board it makes me look like I’m an expert when it comes to drawing. It’s also amazing that I can use my phone to reflect the image onto the drawing board and simply trace it. It’s definitely a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking to take their drawing to the next level.

The assembly was so simple!!! Came the next day in the mail! I was skeptical from the mixed reviews but figured for the price of it, if it worked I’d be super happy! It does exactly what it says! It holds my iPad without the case perfectly. Stand behind it for best results! I did not have scratches on the plastic plate, at all, it was in perfect condition! The case it comes in is perfect for storing it when not in use! I will be using this for cookie and cake designs. The possibilities are endless! I’m so excited and definitely recommend! Thinking of gifting to my kids who love to draw. Worth the purchase!

Product arrived on time, well packaged, and in good condition. I was pleased with the quality of the reflected image it produced from my phone screen. It is a little awkward to get your hand positioned to draw near the interior of transparent panel, but it does what I’d hoped it would do. Quality of materials was better than expected.

I've been wanting to try a camera Lucida for ages, and this does not disappoint. It's important to darken the room and adjust the device to the brightest setting, and then it's just remarkably easy to trace the projected image. I'm going to paint my pencil tip white to make it a little easier to see exactly where it is and I've taped down the paper as it can shift. It's so pleasant when a purchase just out-of-the-box works.
