   My hair wasn't quite at level 10, so I knew NOT to expect the same color as on the box. If the directions are followed, you should see good/even results. If you are expecting the box color, be prepared to lighten your hair to AT LEAST level 10 - and call the help line before giving a less than stellar review. Great product, works exactly as described on the instructions. I love my result! After photo is post first shampoo.

   If you want to take your hair from blonde to silver, I recommend this product. A lot of negative reviews are from those with dark hair. Make sure you properly bleach and tone your hair first before applying the color. I also have short hair and if you have longer hair, I would suggest a semi-permanent hair color first. If you want metallic silver like the box shows, bleach your hair more than once and remove any orange/yellow with blue/purple shampoo.

   So I love this product you have to be blonde. It will not work over any other color to get the silver metallic. The pic of me showing my roots is because you have to bleach your roots when it’s time to dye it silver again. I use manic panic bleach for a root touch up then use this. You have to commit to silver or don’t bother. I’ve had tons of compliments! Hope this helps!

   I liked this dye I would definitely order again. My hair was already blonde prior to application and felt hydrated after this process. My hair came out somewhat blotchy but that’s due to my blotchy blonde hair! If your looking to go grey this stuff is perfect!
