I read the reviews and thought it'd be a fun project to repaint. Yes it came horribly painted. But it has so much detail to work with which makes it worth the money. Only took me 2 hours to finish it. And it was a gift for my father, and he LOVED IT! Especially the finished product. It's definelty giftable and sturdy.

I can't believe I waited to purchase this Groot planter! It's about the size of a soda can, but its cuteness is obviously immeasurable. I'm using it to hold a succulent, and there's something peaceful and tranquil about how little Groot is positioned...as if I could tell him all my problems in the world and he's just sitting there saying, "It's okay, friend. I got this Baby Groot to help decorate my California Kingsnake's terrarium. It looks great inside with some substrate in Groot's head. My snake loves slithering all over Groot. We say that Groot's her boyfriend. I just wish it was a little bigger, but otherwise, no complaints. It's easy to clean.
