Works perfectly, and the only lag I'm seeing is swiping between screens within CarPlay. That could be my (very old) Pioneer head unit. haven't tried making or receiving a call. startup time is fine. you should never drive off from parked immediately anyway, so the time I take to let my car sit idle is just right for the startup of CarPlay. and it's totally automatic.

works perfect on the first try. i don't think the app is on the app store though... i think you have to get it direct from the link provided in the description on this page... i got it to use with an android head unit but i actually don't need it... i managed to get the head unit to run everything native... thus making android auto redundant. but that's not the point of this review. i digress.

Worked straight out of the box on my Linkswell console. Easy to install on trucks Android OS and now I can use Apple car play on iPhone 11 Pro. Very compact and takes up very little room in my glove box.
