My hair is normally dark and had been bleached to the blonde pictured, it had not been colored in about 6 weeks. I bought this color on a whim and I was very pleased with the results. I did leave it on for 40 minutes and I would recommend 2 boxes for shoulder length hair. It does have a slight violet tint, however that has became more silver with a few washes. I will be purchasing in the future. My husband loves the silvery color.

I have had the yellowish blonde color that I've tried to get rid of because my natural hair is growing in as white & gray. Even for my long hair, I only had to use one bottle of color. I left color on for 20 min. and it turned out as a darker slate gray which wash also pretty, but I wanted it lighter silver gray. After the first shampooing ... the color turned out to be perfect and exactly the color I wanted !!!
