This retractable clothesline is the perfect addition to my laundry room. It was easy to install but make sure you install it securely so it can hold a lot of weight. It extends and retracts easily and even has a crank and a lock so you can wind it and lock it after you hang stuff on it. I use it to dry my tablecloths and blankets instead of having to hang them over the stair railing. It's nice because it just retracts out of site when you're done. It also might be a fun thing to put in a kids room to hang stuff from. Overall it's good quality and solves a problem well without taking up any room.

I purchased this laundry line to install in my room. I live with 2 roommates in a very small apartment and to save money I required alternatives to do laundry. The Gorilla Line was an absolute life-saver. I installed it up high across my room and was able to wash clothes with my Drumi and then hung everything on the line. It's able to hold a lot without sagging and was so convenient in my small space. Great quality, and easy to install.

Every now and then there's an item that needs to be hung up, either to finish drying or to just prevent wrinkles. I bought a drying rack for my wife last year for all of her delicates, but I wanted a simple option for the laundry area of our house. This is the perfect fit, it's small enough to be out of the way when not needed, but strong enough to hold several items and let them hang, out of the way. Installation into drywall is a snap with the included drywall anchors, and I had this up in a few minutes. It says the cord can be used up to 13 feet, but we're only using about 6 feet, (the space our washer & dryer occupy in their nook) and it locks up nicely when either retracted or stretched across the area. This is the perfect solution to a few small items that need to hung up.

I bought the leash for the covered terrace. Top! In the past, I always had to look for a hook or something else for clothes on hangers. Now everything is hung on a leash one after the other and hangs there securely! After laundry day, the leash is rolled up again and is virtually invisible! I would buy again in a heartbeat!

This gadget is so cool. We hang dry so many of our clothing items, it can be quite cumbersome to try to find areas to hang them. This is great! I think it would work better with clothespins so I can spread the clothes out without worrying about them sliding together. (I guess that’s how people used to do it so was probably a good reason …) Still have to get some to try it out. I love how discrete it is once you take down the line when not in use and I love not having to worry about storing away a larger folding drying rack. The hardest part is figuring out where to install this lol.

I've only ever seen these clothes lines in hotels for hanging up swimwear or towels. If you can use a screwdriver this is a simple install. The line is retractable so you don't have to have a dedicated space to use this. Just detach the line from the holder and retract the line. This isn't made to hold tons of items at once, but for a few items that can't or shouldn't be dried this is a good option to set up in a bathroom or closet. The key to using this is the tension knob. The line sags if it isn't tight enough and everything will clump together in the middle.
