   I am 70 years old and fighting to keep muscle mass. I thought I would get a bench and some free weights for my new exercise room but feared it would take up too much room. So I got these. They are BETTER than free weights, at my age. I don't need to lift a lot of weight. I find it I double up the strongest (black) band, I get more than enough resistance. I can do a complete workout with these. In fact, it keeps me from hurting myself by trying to go too heavy.

   I've been using these for over a year now, pretty heavy duty use. Only problem I ever had was I think I overstressed the 40lb band, using it in conjunction with a 35 and a 30 for some heavy duty rows, and the 40 pounder clip separated from the tube. The Good News is that the cloth sleeve worked exactly as designed and constrained the tube from whipping around when it released. The Great News is that the company is replacing the 40 pounder tube and throwing in a couple of spare handles for free. They answer emails immediately and could not be more pleasant and helpful. Great company, great product, great folks.

   I’m very impressed! I was recently diagnosed with frozen shoulder, a pulled rotator cuff, tendonitis and bursitis. I started PT a week ago, but soon realized that the resistance bands I had at home would not allow me to replicate the PT exercises at home. I really want my shoulder to heal, so I started looking for better options and ran across this set. The bands are great! Using the door at either the top or the side, with the ability to use both handles or just one, is exactly what I need. I had gotten a simple door pulley system that used a rope with handles. There was no give to it, so I had to return it. This set is awesome! It has enough bands with it to allow me to move up as time moves forward with my PT. Definitely worth the money spent!

   I ordered these bands as a replacement for my old resistance bands they are simply amazing the set comes with many different accessories to accommodate you with any workout you would like to do. The bands protective sleeve works great when using the bands the sleeve will take some time to get use to because the bands will not extend to its full length due to the sleeves, but this will prevent you from popping the band overall a amazing product and price for what you receive in the set 5 star buy

   I was skeptical at first with resistance bands, so I like how these come with an additional covering over the actual bands. They work quite well, come with everything you need to do your workouts, and are good quality. They even come with a bag to store it all in. The resistance is a bit lower than expected if you are pulling from only one end. But pulling from both ends with one body part should be closer to the amount of resistance you are getting. I would recommend using these as supplemental resistance to dumbbells or weights as it would maximize peak contraction force. But if you are a beginner with working out, these resistance bands are a solid choice.

   After using these for two weeks, it is time for my opinion. I have another brand that I have used for two years. I purchased these because of the band cover. Upon first impression, the cloth cover is great quality but the hooks look cheap. They get the job done and I have grown to like the hooks because they are more quiet than my more expensive brand. These are easily portable. The weight seems slightly off from the band label but I always get in a great 30-40 minute workout. I gave this review 5 stars because I plan to purchase another set for a friend because I like the bands and grips.
