Will keep your dogs from opening bedroom doors by pawing down on the door handle. You can just use the lower stop lever and the you humans can lift the lever to get into the room. Great product, very sticky mount you should not touch it to the door until it is exactly in position where you want it.

Well, the internal spring on one of them broke after a couple of weeks. The other is still working. I took the broken one off and it damaged the door badly. I even used my hairdryer on high heat to help and it took every layer of finish and some wood off. I’m definitely going to be loosing part of my deposit

In the nursery at our church we need something to prevent the children from opening the doors. This works great. It is easy for the adults to lock and lock but keeps the toddlers from opening the doors. We keep the bottom part extended most of the time and leave the top retracted. That way you can quickly lift the lever to open the door but the toddlers can not pull the lever down to open the door.
