We bought this product because we where going on vacation and a stroller would either be cumbersome or impractical for our 2 year old. The backpack's ride height is adjustable, so it takes a little experimentation to find the height your child will find comfortable, and it takes a little practice getting the child comfortable riding, getting on and getting off. However, once the set up period is over the product makes touring cities and the country side much easier.

This should have been sold with the back support. I carried my 4 yr old up a mountain and the extra support would have been much appreciated. Also, the bar slips from where I positioned it, had to tie a knot on the straps but I could not get it quite even. Other than that this thing is great! The additional back support would probably have prevent shoulder and back pain.

I bought this when my little guy was 8 or 9 months old. He didn't being confined in his carrier so I would hold him on this when we went for walks- saved my back and made it easy to pick him up and easily put him down (instead of having to unbuckle and take straps off). My posture still isn't great when I use it (i sort of put my hips forward when they should be in line with my shoulders) but it's much better than it would be otherwise! I like that you can wear this on the side or in the front. If using on the side, make sure your little one is position well so that there leg doesn't get compressed and fall asleep.

Worked great for us! We would not have been able to go hiking as a family without it. Our 3 year old was too big for a regular backpack carrier, but too small to keep up on foot! We hiked Rocky Mountain National Park with it and plan to do more.

Its super comfy and the best part is that once you trust that the child is safe you let go of your hands and they are free to do anything you want them to. I first use it at the zoo and took the camera with me and i was shooting like a pro!!! Plus the child love that he can see every thing from above. It was a little hard to make him sit at first but once he understood and felt he was safe he was having a blast.
